At the heart of Kitty Joyas is a commitment to local craftsmanship and thoughtful making.

We work exclusively with recycled metals sourced in the UK, supplied by partners who can trace every step of their journey. Our gold plating is Fairmined - supporting certified small-scale mining organisations that follow responsible social and environmental practices.

Rather than sending our jewellery across the world to be produced, many stages of our making happen close to home. Pieces are cast, polished and engraved by family-run workshops just a short cycle from our studio. Relationships matter here. So does keeping traditional craft alive.

Waste is something we work hard to avoid. Many designs are created in small batches or made to order, reducing overproduction. Any excess metal from the bench is carefully gathered, melted down and returned to the process - ready to be shaped again.

Jewellery making is not an industry where sustainability is ever perfect. But we believe in doing better where we can, questioning old systems and moving, step by step, towards a more considered way of creating.
