The mucho amor ring features our signature hand forged heart repeated in a never ending flow. It’s chunky mixed metal body oozes a playful & contemporary look and the piece combine Kitty's core design values: a bohemian spirit and a romantic charm.
Each individual heart silhouette is originally handcrafted in wax before being cast locally in Hatton Garden solid sterling silver and solid 14ct yellow gold. The hearts are then assembled by hand and soldered together. The diamond is then hand set by our stone setter, before being polished up and finessed in Kitty's South London studio. The piece is also available in solid sterling silver or solid 14ct yellow gold.

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR JEWELLERY
GOLD PLATED
Our gold plated pieces are made with a hard layer of 18ct yellow gold on top of recycled sterling silver. For long lasting colour & to ensure longevity, keep it out of water for prolonged periods of time, including swimming, showering and physical exercise. Read more on our materials + care page.
SOLID GOLD
The most durable of all metals and can be worn all the time. To polish it up you can add a few drops of soft washing-up liquid to a bowl of warm water and soak your gold jewellery in for at least ten minutes. Clean gently with a soft brush / toothbrush & a polishing cloth
STERLING SILVER
The colour of the metal can tarnish with exposure to humidity and frequent handling.To brighten up your silver pieces, you can use bicarbonate of soda and lemon juice, and rinse with warm soapy water. You can also use specialist silver cleaning products such as brillo which you can buy from most supermarkets. Clean with a soft polishing cloth.
ENAMELLED JEWELLERY
All enamelled jewellery should be treated like the precious item it is so it lasts a lifetime. It is a delicate material and salt water, or humidity can degrade the enamel faster. It can react to strong products such as perfume and suncream and should not be worn when washing up, swimming or when doing physical exercise. Enamel can lose it’s shine but it can be polished up again.

SOURCING & MATERIALS
At the heart of Kitty Joyas is a commitment to local craftsmanship and thoughtful making. We work exclusively with recycled metals sourced in the UK, supplied by partners who can trace every step of their journey. Our gold plating is Fairmined - supporting certified small-scale mining organisations that follow responsible social and environmental practices. Rather than sending our jewellery across the world to be produced, many stages of our making happen close to home. Pieces are cast, polished and engraved by family-run workshops just a short cycle from our studio. Relationships matter here. So does keeping traditional craft alive. Waste is something we work hard to avoid. Many designs are created in small batches or made to order, reducing overproduction. Any excess metal from the bench is carefully gathered, melted down and returned to the process - ready to be shaped again. Jewellery making is not an industry where sustainability is ever perfect. But we believe in doing better where we can, questioning old systems and moving, step by step, towards a more considered way of creating. Nothing rushed. Nothing unnecessary. Just jewellery made with care.
